Who is Abbie?!
​
Abbie is our Owner, Brittanie's, spunky, creative, brilliant, and extremely kind daughter. She is our best critic and silliest motivator!
Where is your shop located?
​
We are located at 5110 North Dysart Road, Suite 154 in Litchfield Park, Arizona.
We are open Tuesday through Friday from 7am to 5pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 3pm. Our shop is closed on Mondays.
Does Abbie Cakes only specialize in cakes?
​
Cakes are our sweet of choice BUT we also specialize in creating other stunning and insanely delicious desserts! That includes cupcakes, cake pops, cakesicles, cake jars, brownies, brioche and cake donuts, and specialty breads.
Do you offer Vegan and Gluten Friendly options?
​
Yes and yes! We do caution our clients that all of our products are prepared in one kitchen. While we do make conscious efforts to prevent cross contamination, there is always a possibility that it can occur; thus, we caution anyone with serious allergies not to consume from our business.

When should I place my order?
​
For special occasion desserts, it is best to order 3 to 6 weeks prior to event. We will try our best to accommodate last-minute orders, dependent on our availability. For weddings, it is best to order approximately 6 months ahead.

How much will my cake cost?
​
The price of your cake cake will depend on the number of servings you will need + the complexity of your design. Celebration cakes have a minimum of $120 and wedding cakes have a minimum of $150. If there is a budget you have set for your desserts, please let us know and we will certainly work to align our proposal with the budget you have set!

Do you require a deposit?
​
We do require a 25% non-refundable deposit for all orders over $200. Full payment is due for orders under $200 at the time of booking.
Am I going to get an exact replica of the cake I ask for?
​
We will definitely strive to create the cake that you request; however, we do encourage clients to keep in mind that every baker has their own special touch and thus, we never guarantee an exact replica. We also pride ourselves on incorporating custom details that fit our client's unique styles and celebrations (e.g. color schemes, names, ages, etc.).
Ok, I've got my cake. Now what will it sit on?

We place all of our cakes on a cake board once complete; however, if you're looking to polish off the look of your dessert table, we do offer cake and dessert platters for rent. Check out our rentals page and let us know which piece(s) you are interested in! Turnaround time for returns is three days unless otherwise specified.
Do you hold cake tastings/consultations?
​
Some of our clients find that cake consultations are helpful in assisting them with determining their cake flavors and finalizing their cake design. Our tastings are designed to serve two guests and will include three cake flavors + fillings of your choice. The tasting fee is $50, which will be invoiced after we schedule a date and will be due upon receipt. The cake samples are generously portioned and can be shared with other guests. However, if it is your preference, we would be happy to prepare cake samples for any additional guests for a fee of $10 per additional guest.
Do you deliver?

We do! If you are ordering a celebration (non-wedding) cake with multiple tiers and would like us to deliver, we will confirm our availability and if we are available, we will provide a delivery fee quote. Otherwise, you are more than welcome to pick up from our shop.
All wedding cakes will be delivered and set-up by Abbie Cakes and will incur a delivery + set-up fee, to be determined based upon venue location.
Which venues and vendors are you affiliated with?
We are a preferred vendor for Palm Valley Wedgewood, the Verrado Golf Club, and Weddings off Litchfield.
